OPC stands for "Ole for Process Control". It is an international, standardised, industrial automation protocol and is compatible with all major SCADA software packages. The TSM OPC Server software is designed to allow easy configurability (by non-software specialists) via a very well structured menu system. Thus installation and commissioning does not require TSM personnel intervention. The software can communicate over Serial MODBUS links and MODBUS TCP protocols and is Excel compatible. Data may be uploaded from the TSM equipment to the factory network. All reporting and system configuration data is available via network. The software is compatible with a multitude of outsourced OPC Client Packages allowing the user to choose the most suitable source for his requirements. TSM can provide "Logging" Trending and Inventory Control packages and a wide range of Non Proprietary OPC Client Packages which Plug in to the TSM OPC Server. |
